"Editing is a fantastic fit with writing. I loved hearing that you started to make that connection. Editing helps you write better scripts and writing helps you tell better stories. Filmmaking is an interesting three part process, the script is written, the filming is a separate reality and then the editor has to put everything together as if from scratch. Hopefully the process connects well, but it doesn't always. Creative choices are available at every step."
